As Tokyo Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Week is now over, it’s time to review some of our favorite shows, starting with Ujoh.
Ujoh is a young and high fashion brand founded in 2009 by Mitsuru Nishizaki, who previously worked for Yohji Yamamoto.
The brand is defined by soft, minimalist and wearable designs which result from precision and delicacy, specific to Japanese workmanship. Made with high quality fabrics and materials, Ujoh’s collections incorporate all at once confort, tradition and modernity.
The Spring/Summer 2016 collection, presented during Tokyo Fashion Week, is based on an androgynous tailoring inspiration twisted with asymmetry. The line is pure, minimalist, with straight cuts and neutral shades.
