Low Classic Fall/Winter 2015

Low Classic unveiled its Fall/Winter 2015 collection during Seoul Fashion Week who took place last week. Myougsin Lee, founder of the Korean brand, designed a minimalist and elegant line, with neutral colors and protective figures. Oversized and thick fabrics makes the outerwear looks almost rigid and immobile as the models stride the catwalk. Taking inspiration from the 50s, the Low Classic’s women also embodies refinement.
The designer plays with volumes and shortages. The classic suit is shorten, turning trousers into bermudas. Sweaters have cut-outs at their center taking appearance of petals. Coats are asymmetric.
Still, some pieces are more feminine – a long orange skirt with embroideries, a knit sweater with rustles – and the patchwork print adds originality and relief to the collection.
This collection is Myoungsin Lee’s own interpretation of today’s business women. A chic lady who is everything but classic.
