Issey Miyake Autumn/Winter 2015

For Autumn/Winter 2015, Issey Miyake’s designer Yoshiyuku Miyamae has presented a colorful, graphic and clean collection. Yellow, green, red and purple are dominant while volume is the common theme of the collection. The first figures are really structured and their oversized shapes seem almost rigid. The colored coats, dresses and sweaters appear like a block that won’t move.
The second part of the collection introduces fluid trousers and dresses. Fabrics are smooth and elegant, prints are geometrical, almost psychedelic,  and give attitude to the clothe. Surprising us with the last silhouettes, Miyamae has designed some transformer skirts for next winter. A collection that mainly focuses on deepness and importance of fabrics, materials and colors, making this simplicity quite poetic.
